We are seeking up-and-coming rails developers who want to work under an experienced CTO. Our company is about release a major social networking and content marketing platform, and we need some bright-eyed, very competent developers who want to get some experience under their belt.

You’ll be working part or full-time, and you won’t be making much. So if you’re looking for a full-time salary to support a family or herd of animals, you probably don’t want to apply.

BUT if you’re in a position where you want to take a risk in exchange for the reward of launching a mainstream, kick-butt rails app, then you’re for us. You’re also for us if you’re idealistic, enthusiastic, and reliably professional.

We want to make a big difference in the world, and we invite you to join us. It’s going to be demanding, but the results will be well worth it.

Required skills:

You don’t need tons of experience, but you should have good familiarity with the language. You need to know GitHub, and ideally you’ll have worked on one or two—or tinkered with your own—CMS and/or social networking apps. Most importantly, you have to be ruthlessly committed to releasing clean, non-buggy code… and willing to go the extra mile for usability and speed.

Desired skills:

The most important thing is that you’re (a) fired up about code, (b) reliable and professional (no flakes allowed :)), and © an unapologetic idealist. The rest can work itself out!
