Lead Software Test Engineer

Description:

Responsibilities:

Define and implement black box Web Service, Java SDK and GUI test cases
Hands-on experience with Java, shells, Python, xUnit, and proprietary & open source test tools such as QTP, Selenium, FitNesse, Watir
Implement performance and profiling testing tools such as jMeter, WebLOAD, etc.
Understand product requirements and functionality, design test cases to verify features and functionalities, and identify bugs
Implement xUnit text frameworks and write tests to execute in those frameworks
Perform manual testing on a limited as needed basis

Required Education and Experience

4 year degree; BS CS/EE or equivalent work experience
2-5 years experience working in an Agile Software Development Environment
5+ years experience in and knowledge of black box testing, automation frameworks, and web based GUI testing
5+ years experience working for a software development company
Experience with the following technologies/tools:
xUnit test frameworks
QTP
Java/Shells/Python
Selenium, FitNesse
Linux
Windows
