Kick Ass Ruby Programmer for Start Up

We’re an exciting seed-fiunded new start up working on messaging, local, and search platform tools, and we’re hiring a developer for our team. Our company is called Peoples Software and we’re building interesting applications that ride on the Facebook platform, as well as other SN site. We’re interested in data portability, opened, RSS, XML, mobile and SMS communications protocols, etc.
Currently, we are in the TechStars incubator program and we are well connected in the angel and VC world. This is a chance to get involved with a great new company and team at the early stage—and benefit accordingly. If this sounds like something you’d enjoy, we want to hear from you.

Pay: Competitive. We will discuss salary / compensation during the interview process.

Location: Our company is currently based in Boulder, CO. We are open to a developer who can fly in to Boulder and work remotely; we’re also open to someone in Boulder who can telecommute later (Boston and Bay area).

Required skills:

Job Qualifications: This is a wish list—we want you to have some of these, and experience using them—

-Ruby/Ruby on Rails, Flex 2, XHTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX, JSON, XML, MySQL, Apache2/Mongrel, Rails deployment

PHP or Ruby to PHP tools

Ability to think creatively, solve problems, enjoy challenges..

Desired skills:
