Core Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain and extend out social networking platform
Work with designer to implement web UI with CSS and JavaScript
Offer new technologies or processes to increase usability/functionality
Qualifications and Requirements:
At least one year of programming and deploying Ruby on Rails applications
Must be passionate about Ruby on rails
3+ years of programming with another web language, such as PHP, Java, ASP or ColdFusion
Attention to detail
Preferred Skills:
Strong knowledge of one or more of the following:
MySQL
CSS and Ajax
Nginx and memcached
